GradWIC Grace Hopper Scholarship Application 2017
The Grace Hopper Celebration is a conference dedicated to women in technology, and the 2017 conference will be held in Orlando, Florida from October 4-6, 2017. For more info, see: http://ghc.anitaborg.org

UCSD is able to obtain registrations for the conference, and we will be offering a limited number of scholarships to help fund those who wish to attend. Each scholarship will cover conference registration, flights to and from Orlando, and lodging during the conference.

GradWIC at UCSD is a student organization of women and men working to increase the enrolment, spark interest, and increase the retention rate of women in Computer Science. We are offering full scholarships to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration 2017 in hopes of inspiring more women to stick with Computer Science by showing them a positive environment around like-minded women engineers, by giving them a chance to network with other women engineers in different careers within Computer Science and in all aspects of their careers, and to widen their perspectives on what Computer Science is really about.

We expect all those applying to this scholarship to also apply to any other scholarships you are eligible for. Check this site regularly for links to all currently-open GHC scholarship applications: https://github.com/Ladies-Storm-Hackathons/GHC-Scholarships
