2026 New Bicycle Race Referee Sign-Up and Interest Form

Curriculum

Role of Officials, Race Regulations, Customer Service
Cycling Disciplines, Decision Making, Judging / Scoring
Registration, Advancement and Assignment Process, On-boarding and Equipment

Two Options

(1) In-Person

Date: Saturday, January 17th 2026
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Location: Fremont, CA
In-Person: Lunch and snacks provided

(2) Self-Study

No Class Fees.

However, selection to participate in the Class will be prioritized and depend on your responses to all the questions. Invitations will be limited to ensure that all participants will have an assigned mentor to ensure completion of the referee program successfully.

We will provide you a list of race calendar events and coordinate with you to meet the referee at the race event so that you have an opportunity to learn about what officials do at the races.
