Promoting Student Success in 21st Century Career Development, examines creative, innovative and psychological approaches to address career development and career pathways in the 21st century. Students feel disconnected as they face the diverse, complex world where personal pathways are less clear. Students also face everyday challenges including increased anxiety, stress, a rapidly changing society, that present barriers and discourage success. This class will explore ways that classroom teachers and counselors can innovatively help students change their ways of thinking about themselves and their future that can lead to future success. It will also help participants explore more creative ways to connect with students in the classroom to help them thrive and succeed.
