Why do you feel we should hire you? What is your point-of-difference? *
Please write this WITHOUT paragraphs, or indents, so it is one continuous piece of prose (obviously with punctuation).
Where are you based, geographically? *
This isn't symbolic but helps us sort applicants easily by region.
Please include a (working, permanent!) online link to your full résumé *
This could be a Dropbox link, a Google Drive link, a Wordpress link, a LinkedIn profile - or any other (working and public) online link which clearly shows your career history to date. We must be able to access this without a password!
Please include a (working, permanent!) online link to your sample script report *
This could be a Dropbox link, a Google Drive link, a Wordpress link, a LinkedIn profile - or any other (working and public) online link which we can access now or in the future and will allow us to read your report on either COMPLEX or a different script
Have you attached a report on...? *
You can either apply with a report on the script we provided on the application page, or a report on a script unknown to us.
IMPORTANT: please ensure we can easily access the files you've linked to. If we're shown the dreaded image below, then unfortunately you'll invalidate your application. Thanks for your attention!
Are you interested in being a Script Consultant, a Contest Assessor, or both? *
Essentially the difference between being a Script Consultant and a Contest Assessor is that the former writes deep-dive, creative notes to help the client move forward with their draft, and the latter acts purely as a filter or quality-control mechanism to ensure that weaker projects do not progress in our contests, and stronger ones do. The former is better suited to someone looking to really build up their coverage skills and experience further, and requires a greater overall time commitment, and the latter is ideal for people with existing reading skills but perhaps only bite-size chunks of time available to them. If in doubt we recommend applying for both.
