Class Descriptions Beginner Guitar with Matt-
This class is for brand new players of the instrument. If you have ever had the desire to pick up a guitar, this is the class for you! In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of guitar playing. These skills will include: proper tuning of the instrument, reading sheet music, fretting notes, playing chords, and basic musical theory.
Intermediate Guitar with Matt-
Ideal if you've been playing your guitar for a while, and you want to take your playing for the next level. If this is you, then you belong in this class! In this class, we will go into playing
techniques such as: hammer ons / pull offs, slides, trills, vibrato, bends, and all the other guitar
superhero techniques. We will also go into songwriting, improvisation, and alternate chord
voicings.
Advanced Guitar with Matt
**This class is for players that already have experience with the instrument and know their chords, a good number of scale shapes, and want to take their playing to the next level. In this class we will focus on cleaning up techniques, advanced improvisation and composition, and how to sculpt your personal sound. There will be much discussion of all types of guitar gear, and how to use it. If you are up to the challenge, come on in and let’s rock!

Beginning Percussion with Jude and Joe
This class will go over basic technique, warmups, and foundational music knowledge required to begin playing the drums. Starting with a practice pad, we will go over beginner rudiments and the role of drums and percussion in popular music genres. Class size is limited to 12.
