Gain valuable experience in the field of public works through a paid internship with a local consulting firm or public agency in the San Diego Region.

----ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible for the APWA Internship, students should meet the requirements listed below:
Full or part-time time student enrolled in a public works related curriculum. Public works related curriculum includes engineering, surveying, public policy, communications, etc. Completed application with attachments submitted by March 8, 2019.

-----METHOD OF SELECTION
The student selection shall be based on the information provided in this form, including resume/photo uploaded within this form.

Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an APWA internship nomination interview. Firms may elect to conduct follow-up interviews of nominees, where successful candidates will be offered a paid 8-week summer internship and possibly longer with participating firms and agencies.
