The TLC has stated that all base affirmations must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Due to proximity to deadline, and due to the high volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to submit your affirmation in time.

Once your Base Affirmation has been submitted to the TLC, we will email you a copy of the Base Letter. You will then have 7 days to submit the full application, pay all fees, and obtain all prerequisites (including  TLC insurance) after we submit the Base Affirmation to the TLC.

Please note:
1. You will need a NYC TLC driver’s license in order to partner with Uber in NYC.

2. Please make sure you are able to register your vehicle in New York state. During the vehicle licensing process, you will be required to re-register your vehicle in New York with the NYS DMV - this is necessary for getting TLC plates. Make sure you are able to re-register the vehicle you plan to use. You will complete the registration at the DMV during the vehicle licensing process when you pick up your TLC plates. Head to http://dmv.ny.gov/ for information regarding the DMV in NYS.

3. Please make sure that the vehicle you plan to register is eligible with Uber. A list of eligible vehicles can be found at t.uber.com/vehicles.

4. You will be responsible for all financial undertaking.
