We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers to support our work in the following key areas:

- Evaluating existing curriculum for ways to improve to better meet the needs of our community.
- Developing new curriculum to address emerging trends, new technology, or as a result of feedback from our community.  
- Developing and hosting monthly webinars (except July) to educators to increase organization’s visibility and to promote our products.
- Collaborating with companies, organizations, and government entities (i.e. legal system) to help build our curriculum and to promote our mission.

The Events Committee will manage the planning, logistics, and support for the following:
- Annual Digital4Good Summit (D4GS)
- Students & Educators:  Build Student Voices to become a “mini D4GS” with monthly awards.
- Identify external conferences or events that we could participate in to help promote our mission.
- Explore opportunities for new partnerships with organizations to collaborate on events.

This committee will oversee marketing efforts to broaden overall awareness of our mission with strategies within the educational space, managing social media campaigns, press releases, and both internal and external communications.  

More specifically, this team will:
- Collaborate with the marketing interns and assist with campaigns.
- Assist with preparing press releases.
- Manage press releases to media outlets, as well as developing and managing our media outlet list.
- Build and manage an “Ambassador Influencer Program” which includes expanding work with current influencers, developing strategies to partner with new influencers, building brand ambassadors, and creating guidelines and protocols for our ambassadors.
- Post from the #ICANHELP social media accounts from an adult perspective.
- Ensure that all communications and campaigns have considered a diversity and inclusion perspective.
- Create regular internal communications updates for all volunteers. (i.e. monthly or quarterly newsletter).

This committee will help build and secure funding to support our mission, vision, and strategic goals by:
- Leading our fundraising efforts and utilizing our volunteer base for support.
- Building relationships with existing and potential corporate sponsors.
- Providing guidance for our board and other leaders to leverage our collective professional networks to develop organizational sponsors (year-round giving and support) and fundraising sponsors (support in specific campaigns or events)
- Working with the Executive Director to ensure the sponsorship packages are current and relevant to our markets.
- Identifying grant opportunities and managing the grant application process.
- Managing any major gifts and donations.
- Working closely with the Public Relations, Marketing, & Communications Committee to help promote initiatives.
