Small Farm Conf. Workshop Proposal

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal to present at the 31st California Small Farm Conference in Davis, CA on February 22nd and 23rd, 2019. Our mission is to provide relevant educational and networking opportunities and resources to address issues facing farmers, ranchers, local food advocates and farmers’ market managers. We aim to provide workshops that are relevant for both beginners and more advanced attendees and that represent and speak to the diversity of those working in California agriculture.

Successful proposals should be concise (250 words or less in response to each question) and focused on a timely topic. If you have multiple proposals, you must fill out one form for each workshop topic. If the topic is targeted towards farmers/ranchers, the workshop must include AT LEAST one farmer/rancher. Panels are limited to three presenters. This allows at least 20 minutes for Q & A. Proposals to promote commercial products or services are not accepted.

If your workshop is selected for the conference, one-day registration and one meal will be provided the day of the speaking engagement for up to three speakers from each workshop (this may include speakers and/or workshop coordinator/moderator (if not a speaker). There is no compensation for travel expenses incurred.

Thank you in advance for your contribution!
