Coaches Waiver: I understand that if I am selected to coach, I will be governed by the rules and policies of the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department for the sport involved. If I serve as the Head Coach, I agree that if Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation has a mandatory meeting and/or training, I will attend this meeting or send someone in my place. I understand that failure to pass a background check and failure to complete the certification process prior the first game will result in loss of the coaching privilege.

Important for Football Coaches: I also understand that in order to coach football as a head coach and/or an assistant coach, I will be required to purchase the training material and complete the training prior to the first game of the season.

I acknowledge that the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department may choose to deny me unsupervised access to a child or children pending the completion of the background check; and I further agree to hold the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department and/or Floyd County harmless regarding any liability for defamation, invasion of privacy or any other claim based upon good faith action taken pursuant to the provisions of this consent.
