Field Instructor Registration and Tuition Waiver Request
To thank our Field Faculty for instructing students in the clinical setting, MCU offers eligible preceptors a tuition waiver for up to 3 credits per semester. In order to qualify for the tuition waiver benefit, preceptors must meet the following conditions:

1. Must have been actively precepting an MCU student for at least two trimesters. The tuition waiver will be available for the trimester following the first two trimesters.

2. Must be currently working with an MCU student during the trimester in which the tuition waiver is to be applied.

3. Must have met all expectations as outlined in the clinical training agreement and application for each trimester previous to the trimester in which the tuition waiver is to be applied. This includes completion of semester evaluations, complete and timely submission and fulfillment of the Clinical Training Agreement (CTA).

If you qualify for the tuition waiver benefit, follow the steps below to complete the registration process:
*In order for your tuition to be waived, this form must be submitted during the Continuing Education registration period for the semester in which you want the benefit applied and no later than 3 days before the window closes.

III. Next Steps
All Continuing Education requests will be processed during the CEU registration window after course availability has been determined. Once your eligibility for the tuition waiver benefit has been verified by the clinical department, you will receive an email invitation to create an MCU user account if you do not already have one. The registrar will contact you to finalize your enrollment or discuss other options if the course(s) you selected are not available.
