Taste of Ethiopia 2019 Vendor Application
Thank you for your interest in Taste of Ethiopia, the largest Denver Days event of the summer. It is with great pleasure, we extend an invitation for you to be a part of this incredible celebration! We encourage vendors to offer unique products, authentic arts and services relevant to the African diaspora to promote the cultural experience to the Colorado community.

 June 15, 2019 - Application Deadline at Regular Fee
 June 30, 2019 - Late Application Deadline with $50 Additional Late Fee
 After June 30, 2019 – Applications received after June 30, 2019 will be placed on a waitlist and will be only considered based on space availability. NO onsite registrations.
 August 3, 2019 – 7th Annual Taste of Ethiopia Festival, Parkfield Lake Park, Denver, Co

 Vendor Set Up: 7:00AM – 10:00AM: Booth must be set and ready for customers by 10AM
 Festival Hours: 10:00am – 9:00pm Saturday, August 3, 2019
 Take Down: 9:00PM – 11:00PM: Vendors must remove everything from the park before 11:00PM. Vendors are required to leave their space clean when they leave.

DAMAGE DEPOSITS: Vendors must be in compliance of Park policies. Vendors are required to clean their space after festival is completed. Refundable deposit of $50 is required to participate. Vendors in compliance will receive their damage deposit refund within 7 business days after the Festival.

The vendor committee will review all submitted applications. Vendor notification of acceptance or denial will be sent to the email address on the application. For accepted applicants, vendor packets will be emailed no later than one week prior
to Festival which will contain booth space assignments.

Taste of Ethiopia provides space for Vendors to set up their booth. Vendors are responsible to bring their own 10X10 tent, table, chairs, etc. Taste of Ethiopia does not provide electricity. Vendors are required to ensure their tents are secure and safe.

Taste of Ethiopia Festival reserves the right to deny or cancel vendor application and refund all fees if the exhibitor does not fit our vision and mission.

NO ALCOHOL: Vendors including food vendors are NOT allowed to sell alcohol. Vendors are also not allowed to sell or exhibit products dealing with drug paraphernalia, reference to drugs, weapons, or toys that depict weapons. Vendors are not allowed to sell items in direct competition with Taste of
Ethiopia Festival sponsors with exclusivity rights.

The Taste of Ethiopia Festival is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury. All vendors are required to have their own liability insurance.

There is no rain date, and no refunds will be given for weather-related issues. All vendors are encouraged to prepare for possible inclement weather (proper weights, tent sidewalls, etc.)

Each vendor must be in compliance with the Denver Special Events tax license requirements. It is expressly agreed and understood that the Festival will not permit
any vendor to participate in the event that has not paid their taxes in full to the Denver Manager of Finance.

Please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue Taxation Division for Colorado Special Event Tax License and City of Denver Treasury Division for Denver Special Event Tax License Websites. The fees are nominal and representatives from these agencies may be on-site to assure all vendors are in compliance with obtaining their sales tax licenses.
