SAPA Survey
This survey is in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking to fill all positions for next year! Positions range from positions on the board, parent liaison, and event chairs. If you are unsure what role you can fill, but would love more information on how you can help that is an option too.  Please note there are two sections. The first section will have all the SAPA Board Positions and the second will include all areas where we are looking for chairs and support of events.  EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN AN OFFICER/CHAIR IN PAST YEARS, PLEASE FILL THIS OUT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CONTINUING YOUR ROLE.

President

The role of the president is to serve as the liaison between the parish administration (pastor and principal), St. Ambrose Catholic School, and the SACS Board. Main duties are to coordinate the work of all the Officers and committees so that the purpose of SAPA is served and fiscal responsibility is maintained. This position warrants 16 service hours.

Vice President

The role of the Vice President is to support and assist in the responsibilities of the President and to assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Committee. This person will also serve as the Chair of the Cash Bash Fundraiser. This position warrants 16 service hours.

Treasurer

The role of the treasure is to support the financial mission of SAPA by ensuring proper financial recordkeeping, and bill payment is maintained. Coordinate with the fundraising chairs/fundraising officer on fundraising finances. Treasurer also is the official coordinator of the annual dress down pass fundraiser. This position warrants 16 service hours.

Secretary

The role of the secretary is to support and assist in all official clerical matters such as: correspondence, meeting minutes, official agendas, online document management and other documentation needs for SAPA. This position warrants 16 service hours.

Public Relations Coordinator

The position of PR coordinator is to ensure all SAPA events and fundraisers are promoted via social media, local advertising, school and parish websites. Coordination with fundraising chairs on proper messaging of events and coordination of advertisements. Creation of sign ups for events. This position warrants 16 service hours.

School Activities Officer

The position of School Activities Officer is to oversee and facilitate the planning, organizing, and execution of student and parent activities in conjunction with the school. This position warrants 16 service hours.

Fundraising Officer

The position of fundraising officer is to oversee and facilitate the planning, organizing and execution of fundraisers in conjunction with fundraising chairs under SAPA. Additionally, the Fundraising Officer is to be the primary liaison to the Parish Development Officer. This position warrants 16 hours.

SAPA Liaison

SAPA Liaisons serve as a representative from each "wing" of the school, in order to ensure open communication and representation between grades/school/teachers and SAPA. Liaisons also help to serve as a mentor for new families and to help identify and coordinate volunteers from the classes. We can have up to 3 per wing. If you have students at multiple levels and would be willing to serve at either level please choose all that you would be willing to help at. We would not assign you to more than one group unless you wanted to be. This will warrant 12 service hours.
