MWSA is running two additional Introduction to Umpiring sessions to help players learn the basics and build confidence on the diamond.

These practical sessions are ideal if you:
• have never umpired before;
• have only umpired a few games;
• would like a refresher; or
• simply want to better understand the game from an umpire’s perspective.

We’ll cover the basic mechanics of umpiring, where to position yourself, signals and some of the common situations you’ll encounter in a game.

Come to either or both sessions. All welcome!
