Who: Children ages 6 to 15 who are living with juvenile arthritis or a related disease. Teens ages 16-18 can apply for the Counselor In Training (CIT) program (please use the CIT application).
What: A no cost camp created especially for children living with juvenile arthritis or a related disease.
When: July 28-August 2, 2013
Where: Camp Will-A-Way, a Camp Twin Lakes, Inc. facility located in Winder, GA at Fort Yargo State Park
* Cabins are air conditioned and handicap accessible. Campers have 24/7 access to medical staff.
To apply for Camp AcheAway a parent or legal guardian must fill out the application form by June 14, 2013. Once the completed application form is received you can download the follow up paperwork from the website or you will be emailed or mailed the follow up paperwork which includes: waivers, an immunization form and a medical form that must be signed by your child’s doctor. This paperwork must be returned by June 28, 2013.
*Forms received after these dates will not be reviewed and campers will not be accepted.
After all forms are completed the Planning Committee will make the final decision of acceptance for each individual camper and the family will be notified. Space is limited and decisions are made based on the order in which all forms are received. We provide equal opportunity to all campers without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.
Please fill out the application entirely and to your best ability. Any information found to be falsified prior to or during camp could result in the camper being removed from the accepted list or from camp.
