The Friends of Nuestra Cabaña is an international group actively promoting and supporting Nuestra Cabaña. We enable Girl Scouts and Girl Guides to discover and enjoy self-development, learning, and adventure at Nuestra Cabaña.
Our primary goals are:
1) To raise funds for scholarships, operational expenses, and other needs as they are identified.
2) To promote Nuestra Cabaña as an international program center while encouraging girls, young women, and adults to attend events Nuestra Cabaña.
Since 1958, the Friends of Nuestra Cabaña have actively championed Nuestra Cabaña by giving talks about our experiences, promoting Nuestra Cabaña at conferences and conventions, and holding Mexican Fiestas to educate and enjoy Mexican culture. Our work has raised millions of dollars in support and encouraged thousands of girls and adults to attend sessions at Nuestra Cabaña in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
The Friends of Nuestra Cabaña is the only group supporting a World Centre that has members from multiple countries. Our annual meeting is held in February; we are looking forward to our meeting in February 2024 to gather in person for the first time since 2020!
