Creating a Sustainable Gryffe is a charity  for the communities of Bridge of Weir and Houston. It exists to advance community development, rural regeneration, as well as  environmental protection and improvement consistent with sustainable development. 

We work to

• promote and protect biodiversity and green spaces, 

• enable repair, reuse and repurpose resources 

• promote and enable sustainable travel and food growing

• promote and develop energy saving measures and sustainable energy

Membership of Creating a Sustainable Gryffe is free of charge. Membership will give you voting rights at the AGM of Creating a Sustainable Gryffe’s AGM. 

There are three types of memberships:

Ordinary Membership: For anyone who lives in the Houston or Bridge of Weir Community Council area, over the age of 16, and is eligible to vote in local elections.

Youth Membership: For anyone with a connection to the Houston or Bridge of Weir Community Council area who is aged 12 or over,  and under the age of 16.

Associate Membership: For anyone not resident in Bridge of Weir or Houston over the age of 16.
