Thank you for choosing Lakes International Language Academy! As required by law, all eligible students who submit timely applications to a public charter school must be enrolled unless the number of applications exceeds the capacity of a program, class, grade level, or building. At LILA, class sizes are determined by the school’s board of directors. If applications EXCEED capacity at any grade level, Pre-K through Grade 12, students must be accepted by lottery. If applications DO NOT EXCEED capacity at lottery deadline, NO LOTTERY WILL BE HELD and all students will be eligible to enroll.
Prior to completing the application, please confirm eligibility. To be eligible for kindergarten, your child must be at least five years old on September 1, 2026. Once you’ve determined your child is eligible, you may complete the application.
At the end of the application, you will be prompted to click the 'submit' button. After you hit the submit button, you will receive confirmation of your application and information about next steps. Please review this information thoroughly and screenshot the confirmation for your records.
LOTTERY DATES & OTHER INFORMATION:
- The 2026-2027 Enrollment Lottery will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year must be received by no later than Wednesday, January 14 at 4:00 pm to be eligible for the lottery. After January 15th, we will fill open seats on a first come, first served basis.

The Kindergarten school day hours will remain 7:50am-2pm for the 2026-2027 school year.
