General schedule of the canning weekend:
Friday afternoon/evening - Carpool from State College to the host's home
Saturday 10am-5pm - Canning at designated locations on intersections or in front of local businesses
Sunday 10am-1pm - Canning at designated locations on intersections or in front of local businesses
Sunday afternoon - Carpool back to State College
Details on hosting:
Hosts are responsible for providing a place for students to sleep during the canning weekend. Hosts will work with club leaders to arrange appropriate permissions required to conduct canning fundraisers in their town. Hosts are NOT responsible for providing meals, but if they do, it is always very much appreciated.
Details on driving:
Drivers must have a car. Drivers are responsible for driving canning participants to the canning host location as well as back to State College. Gas expenses will be divided by all individuals riding in that particular car.
