At the January 27, 2021 Board meeting, BELTSS resolved to recognize the critical learning encountered by the LHSE/LNHA during COVID and the substantial QAPI daily work needing completion during this unprecedented period. As a result, BELTSS will accept content presented by State and Federal regulatory and disease control entities using the authorized provision in Minnesota Rules 6400.6850 (K). Licensees who choose to claim CEUs under this provision must submit a request with learning that occurred due to their participation with MDH/CDC/local public health authorities related to pandemic planning/infection control best practices, staff relations/education, QAPI or any performance observations and be asked to record a short response, accepted by the board, who will approve up to 10 clock hours for the period ending June 30, 2021.
