Bio Blitz at the Center for Conservation
Help the Boone County Conservation District observe and document plants, animals, and fungi of the Earl and Hazel Jones Center for Conservation! 

Join us as we hike the trails and use the iNaturalist app to record the biodiversity of the forest, stream, wetland, and fields. No prior experience or knowledge necessary - anyone and everyone are encouraged to attend! 

Data we collect will help BCCDKY properly manage and protect the habitat at the Center and will also be used by for the "City Nature Challenge," a global bio-blitz challenge! The City Nature Challenge takes place all over the world between April 24-27, and anyone can upload observations to help their city collect the most observations. All ages welcome. 
Please dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes.

Location: 2588 Camp Ernst Lane, Burlington, KY 41005. (Drive to the end of the one-lane road and park in the field.) Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.

Upon my acknowledgement of this release, I acknowledge that access to any property owned by the Boone County Conservation District (BCCDKY) may involve a risk of physical injury to any individual entering the property and such access will be granted with BCCDKY permission only. 

I hereby expressly assume all risk and hereby agree to hold harmless, release, waive and discharge Boone County Conservation District, its partners, sponsors, agents, representatives, and or officials from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages or expenses I might have as a result of physical injury incurred by my presence on BCCDKY property. 

 I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by BCCDKY and agree to use the property and any equipment in a safe and respectful manner and exercise due caution to prevent injury and accident to myself or others as well as any damage to the property.
