The need for legal assistance for low-income populations in Snohomish County is overwhelming. Snohomish is Washington’s third-most populous and fastest-growing county with more than 770,000 residents, at least 100,000 of whom have household incomes below 125% of the Federal Poverty level.
Edmonds College is partnering with Snohomish County Legal Services to provide students and staff with an overview and introduction to the free services for low-income individuals and households offered by Snohomish Country Legal Services. This introduction focuses on Civil Legal Services: Family Law, Housing and Wills for Seniors.
The first 60 minutes on Friday will be presentation of services with the last 30 minutes reserved for questions. No individual consultations about individual legal issues will be done on June 9, but participants can sign up for a one-on-one meeting with a lawyer at a later date.
The presentation is on Friday, June 9, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, in Snohomish building, Room 337, on the campus of Edmonds College.
We have just 40 seats available for this clinic, so reserve your spot now!
