EAM Teen Design Competition Registration
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, the Elmhurst Art Museum invites area teens to submit their own architecture and design proposals that respond to the theme of “Home”. Whether the structure itself or the objects inside, the concept of home is one that holds a unique and powerful significance.

This juried competition will be on view at the museum, and will celebrate creative design of today’s young minds. Designed objects in any 3D medium are welcome, the use of today’s industrial materials and technologies is encouraged.

Audience: Ages 13-18, open to both local and Chicago-based teens that are able to physically drop off their completed projects.

Rules & Guidelines: Participants must register on EAM’s website and all entries are free. Participants are encouraged to attend all workshops that precede the competition. Limit one design per participant. All submissions must be no larger than 48” x 48” x 48”, and must be three-dimensional. All 3D medium are welcome.
