UW iSchool Alumni Anniversary Passport Progress Report

Overview
As the UW Information School (iSchool) celebrates its 25th year, we invite you to reconnect with each other, the school and the anniversary through the Alumni Passport Program.

Getting Your Passport:
UW iSchool alums can find a downloadable version of the Alumni Anniversary Passport on the iSchool's Anniversary website. A lucky 1,500 of our most engaged alumni will be chosen at random to receive a commemorative printed "passport post card" in the mail at the beginning of April.

Participation:
Opportunities will span the categories of local and global; in-person and virtual; and individual and community-based. Please see the listing below and look for upcoming events and activities marked with a passport stamp or the iSchool anniversary logo shown above.

Stamp Collection:
Passport stamps can be "collected" by completing activities throughout the anniversary year. Each activity represents "one stamp" and a way to connect with the institution’s legacy and future.

Activities List:
The below listing of the opportunities that can be counted towards stamp collection. Each activity is worth "one stamp." Please note that certain activities can only be accomplished once towards passport stamp collection as indicated by the asterisk (*) symbol.


Activities to Reconnect
- Attend an iSchool anniversary-themed event (in-person or virtual)
- Check out a recorded lecture, panel, or podcast*
- Take a virtual or self-guided campus tour*
- Submit a class note or anniversary message*

Activities to Engage
- Volunteer at an alumni or community service event
- Mentor a student or sponsor a Capstone project
- Participate in a regional alumni chapter gathering
- Join a professional or affinity group activity

Activities to Learn
- Join a live webinar featuring faculty or alumni experts
- Read and share on Facebook or LinkedIn a faculty- or Center- led research highlight*
- Participate in a discussion, user testing or feedback group  

Activities to Celebrate
- Share a memory, photo, or story from time on campus *
- Attend a reunion or anniversary celebration
- Post on social media using a designated anniversary hashtag
- Vote in a “favorite campus tradition” poll*

Activities to Give
- Make a gift during Husky Giving Day
- Share iSchool messaging during Husky Giving Day
- Submit a testimonial on socials


Submission and Swag Collection:
The Alumni Anniversary Passport program runs from April 1, 2026 through the Anniversary Celebration event in October 2026. Alumni may submit their completed passport stamp collections at any point during this period. Each UW Information School alum is eligible for one submission. Swag awarded based on the number of stamps collected will be distributed on-site during the Anniversary Celebration weekend.
