Communications Co-Coordinator Application
As Communications Co-Coordinators, you will work together to finesse STAND’s messaging, developing relationships with publications across the online and print media spectrum, and ensure that our constituency stays informed about all things STAND through national emails and regional newsletters. You’ll work with individual activists on op-eds, as well as draft and oversee STAND press releases and national opinion pieces. You’ll also be responsible for keeping STAND’s blog populated with quality content from STAND activists, with help from a team of student bloggers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that anything and everything STAND publishes is polished, free of grammatical errors, and in-line with STAND’s mission and vision. From checking over website language, to editing and publishing blog posts, campaign materials, and one-pagers, you will make sure that STAND’s communications are concise, engaging, and educational.

* Note: MC Members should expect to spend an average of 10 hours per week in their role, and all MC members are expected to attend two (expenses-paid) retreats in Washington, DC in summer 2017 and winter 2018 for training, bonding, and campaign planning! Applicants should be prepared to attend weekly MC Calls and weekly Programmatic or Outreach Calls, based on position. *

Applications are due on Friday, March 31 at 11:59 PM. Please direct any questions to info@standnow.org.
