Thank you for your interest in touring the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio!

Tours of our facility can be requested through this form and can include visits to our operations area to learn about weather monitoring and forecasting, to interact with NWS forecasters, and even participate in our twice-daily weather balloon launches!

Please fill out the form below to request an opportunity to see "behind-the-scenes" into NWS forecast and warning operations.

TOUR GUIDELINES

1) Please note that tours may be scheduled during the typical workday, 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday or during the evening (time varies throughout the year) to participate in our weather balloon preparation and launch process. Tours on weekends may be offered on a limited basis due to special circumstances.

2) Group size is strictly limited to 20 total people for those 10 years of age and older.

3) Please note that tours, even upon approval/scheduling, are subject to cancellation on short notice due to severe weather, staffing constraints, or other unforeseen events. Approved tours will be required to call us the day prior to the scheduled tour to confirm our availability.

4) Upon completion of the form, please allow at least 1 week to receive a response from us for further coordinate on a suitable date/time. If you have any questions about this form, please give us a call at (937) 383-0031.
