This award recognizes a Colorado-based organization that demonstrates excellence across all areas of business performance—delivering strong financial results, driving innovation through technology, addressing real needs in the marketplace, and leading with purpose through community engagement and corporate responsibility.

The organization must have been in operation for at least 5 years.

All nominations must be submitted via this electronic form, and once submitted, all nominations are final. Your award nomination must be submitted by Wednesday, November 19 at 5PM. 

Eligibility: 

1. Nominees must be a Colorado resident and/or a Colorado business with a significant physical presence in Colorado. 

2. Nominees for CEO, Technology Leader & CISO of the year awards must be in their current role for at least 1 year.

3. Nominees for Emerging Tech Company must have been in operation for less than five years, while nominees for Company of the Year must have been operating for more than five years.

4. Previous winners are not eligible to win. Previous nominees and finalists are encouraged to submit a nomination again. 

5. Self-nominations are welcome. 

6. Finalists are expected to make themselves available for the video/photo shoot in January (date TBA) and attend the awards program on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

7. Nominations are due Wednesday, November 19 by 5:00pm MST. 

8. Individuals and organizations from the public sector, private sector, and consulting firms are eligible to apply, provided they meet the criteria above

General Judging Criteria: 

1. Market Leadership & Innovation – Demonstrates exceptional innovation in products, services, or business strategy that advances the organization's market position.

2. People and Culture – Invests in employee engagement and collaboration while creating access to opportunities that support growth and development.

3. Community & Industry Influence – Supports Colorado’s tech ecosystem and helps advance its leadership on a national level.

CTA's panel of judges are looking for well thought-out, detailed nominations that showcase accomplishments over time and in the past year. Nominations lacking these components are less likely to be considered for finalist and/or winner designations. We recommend collaborating directly with your nominee to provide quality information. 

TIPS: Draft your answers to the essay questions in a separate text document and be concise. Please note that there is a 2,000 word count limit for your answers. Once finalized, you can then copy/paste the info into this form for submission. We strongly advise against composing the answers to the essay questions live in the online form.
