This workshop is aimed at all researchers and technical workers with a background in biology who want to learn programming. The syllabus has been planned with complete beginners in mind; people with previous programming experience are welcome to attend as a refresher but may find the pace a bit slow. All attendees will need to bring a laptop with them for the duration of the workshop.
Lunch or Dinner are not provided but a cafe is available for delegates to purchase refreshments.
Before filling out this form, please raise a purchase order number to the supplier "University of Aberdeen", stating "CGEBM/WP16/XX1 Name FAO: Lynne Lumsden" - where XX is replaced by your initials and Name is replaced by your full name. The purchase order number is needed below. As well as filling out the form please email a copy of your PO to Sophie Shaw (firstname.lastname@example.org) including your CGEBM/WP16/XX1 reference number.
By completing this registration you are accepting that you will be liable for the course charge if you are unable to attend the workshop and do not provide at least 72 hours' notice to the CGEBM in writing to cancel your registration. You are also accepting that your supervisor has agreed to your attendance at the workshop.
