The Clark Park Community Garden is a collaborative effort to repurpose the Clark Park Pool into a fully functioning, neighborhood run community garden. The Clark Park and Marilyn Ann Neighborhood Associations have been working with the Tempe Community Action Agency to make the garden a reality and we are excited to open it up to our neighborhoods.

Our mission is to plant and grow roots in our community to not only improve and reestablish “our” neighborhood park but also to provide access to healthy locally grown food and to enhance our relationships in the neighborhood. The garden is intended to promote and provide environmental sustainability and land stewardship, educational and social opportunities, and healthy supplemental food sources for its gardeners and those in need of food.

Our neighborhood garden wouldn’t be a garden without the community. We are excited to have a number of personal garden boxes for one year rental. At this time we have 27 boxes built.

Our garden and rental boxes feature:
* Separate automated drip irrigation system for each 4' x 8' box
* Optional shade screen for each 4' x 8' box
* Tools for gardening
* Entire garden fenced and secured with keypad lock access
* Access garden anytime during regular park operating hours, 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM
* Stadium lighting for gardening after sunset or before sunrise

Box rentals are for 12 months. Current rental rates are:
Personal 4 foot by 8 foot box... $120 ($100 senior 60+) total for 12 months.
