Pipeline Prayer Vigil September 13th
On September 13th, faith and spiritual leaders will gather at seven locations across Virginia to ask Governor Terry McAuliffe to do the right thing: Oppose the Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley pipelines for fracked gas!

On Wednesday, September 13th atnoon, faith and spiritual leaders representing a diverse array of denominations and communities will gather outside the Governor’s environmental offices in seven different regions of Virginia. Co-sponsored by the leaders at the Virginia Interfaith Power and Light organization and an array of other groups, these lunchtime vigils will involve prayers, meditation and spiritual ceremonies with the purpose of raising an urgent moral appeal to the Governor and other leaders to reject the pipelines. The vigils will be held in Virginia Beach, Roanoke, Harrisonburg, Richmond, Abingdon, Glen Allen, or Woodbridge.
