Our 7th SSMF runs Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Stage at Lake Sara, 8724 E Marine Rd Effingham IL 62401.
We expect around 400 attendees to the festival over the course of weekend, and possibly more who might come to only visit Vendor Row, which is just outside the festival box office entrance.
Festival hours are flexible and patrons come and go. Vendors are welcome to set their own hours of operation during the festival.
Music is scheduled during the following hours, approximately:
Friday 5:00 P.M.-Midnight
Saturday 10:00 A.M.-Midnight,
Sunday 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
-For craft/artisan vendors, cost per 12' x 12' space is $100 each with a maximum of (2) attendants (regardless of multiple spaces.)
-We will provide each vendor booth with either 2 weekend pass wristbands, or 2 day pass wristbands for each day of festival to be used as you see fit. Additional day pass wristbands can be purchased at the box office.
-Parking is free and close to vendor area (~500ft)
-Provide your own pop-up/shelter, tables, chairs, decor, lights, fans, etc.
-We attempt to provide power (1 plugin) to each craft vendor, but this is not guaranteed.
-Bathrooms/sinks are available just inside the festival grounds (requires wristband).
-Summer Sundown/Poss Music Works does not provide any security for unattended booths.
-Summer Sundown/Poss Music Works is not responsible for any theft or damage.
-Camping (primitive tent or drydock RV/car camp) for vendors is available in close proximity to Vendor Row.
-Camping is not allowed in Vending/Festival areas.
-Camp/beach showers are available at Lake Sara Beach Park or Lake Sara Campground (~1/4 mile away)
Effingham has plentiful hotels & vacation stays so you may wish to stay offsite.

We have limited power and space for food vendors. Contact info below for pricing/bartering.
Vendor Setup
Vendor setup is limited to the evening of Thursday, September 10, and the morning of Friday, September 11. Then vendor area is closed to cars. You may continue to setup but your car will have to be in the parking area. A collapsible wagon or dolly may be useful.
What Happens Next
We will notify you of acceptance and give instructions for payment, including online or mail-in check.
If accepted, payment is due by Friday, August 21, 2026. If application and payment are not received, your spot may be offered to vendors on a waiting list.
