Swahili Futurism Art Residency Application
Zanzalu is developing a two-week art residency and gallery themed Swahili Futurism in Zanzibar in Fumba Town from July 25th to August 8th.
The residency will bring together a small group of artists and creators from East Africa to explore how Swahili culture and imaginative future thinking can come together to shape a new creative narrative.

This residency will support East African artists to collaborate and generate new works that can travel globally. It will enable them to build long term creative networks and empower the youth of Zanzibar through its creativity
