All applications must be completed online and in order to participate, the entity MUST submit an application. By submitting this application, you are agreeing to comply with the rules set out below.
PARADE RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
No conduct that violates any ordinance or law of the City of Covington or the Commonwealth of Kentucky will be tolerated. Any entry violating applicable law will be prohibited from participating in the Parade and will be removed from the staging area or at the closest break in the parade route. Parade participants may not throw items to the parade attendees.
All vehicles in the Parade must be able to navigate the entire parade route and make all turns and clearances without difficulty. Dimensions of all floats must not exceed the following: 40 feet in length, 12 feet in width at the wheelbase with a maximum width of 16 feet and 15 feet in height. It is the responsibility of each driver/entrant to see to it that their float clears all obstacles (primarily the 6th street underpass).
No individual under the influence of a prohibited substance will be allowed to drive any vehicle participating in the Parade. Any participant violating this rule will be ejected from the Parade and their group’s entry will be removed from the Parade.
In the event of extreme weather, including but not limited to significant rain, NKY Pride reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Parade. In the event of a cancellation, reimbursement of the parade and vendor fees may be granted in-part or in-full. We will review the situation at the time of the event.
NKY Pride expects parade participants to show respect for all genders, ages, races, cultures, abilities, faiths, and sexual orientations. All participants are asked to display an attitude that promotes pride in the LGBTQ+ community. Participants may not use profanity, vulgar music, obscene gestures, or show other improper conduct toward any other group or individual participant or spectator.
The NKY Pride Parade Committee reserves the right to remove any Parade participant for noncompliance with any of the rules stated herein.
VENDOR RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
By submitting this application, you agree that your booth space will be operated in a safe manner at all times and in accordance with all laws, rules, and regulations set forth by the NKY Pride 2026 Committee, the City of Covington, and their Police and Fire Divisions as well as any and all applicable state and federal transient vendor laws.
The vendor festival is from 12:00-5:00. All participants in the festival are expected to be fully set up in their assigned booth space by 11:30 and then begin tear down at 5:00. Exiting the festival early is highly discouraged.
Finally, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the NKY Pride 2026 Committee, NKY Pride Center, the City of Covington and their Police and Fire Divisions and any other person or entity responsible for the production of Pride 2026 from any and all actions for damages or liability of any kind in connection with loss of life, bodily injury or property damage arising from your participation with Pride 2026 and said groups will not be liable to you, your agents, invitees, or to any other person claiming through their association with you, any injury or damage to person or property within your care. By submitting below, you agree to follow all rules and guidelines for the NKY Pride 2026 Festival.
