Join us for the launch of Sabokahan's self-published young adult novel about a small tribe’s gigantic feats told from the perspective of women, crafted by women and LBGTQ writers, artists, advocates and their allies.

"We Call Her Ina Bai: How Strong Women Are Made" is a compelling narrative of the extraordinary resilience and strength of indigenous Lumad women and their tribe as they go through the struggles in a world that continually tries to undermine their human dignity, rights to land and life.

This collective strength was told through the point of view of Bai Bibyaon Ligkayan Bigkay, the living woman warrior of the Pantaron Mountain Range of southern Philippines.
