The Chiswick Artist and Maker Studios Application

Thank you for your interest in joining The Chiswick Artist and Maker Studios. Please note that the studios have been fulled: To be considered for future availability, we kindly ask you to complete the application form to join the waiting list for future spaces.

Before applying, please note the following:

  • Studios are in the vicinity of public areas as part of the Chiswick House & Gardens visitor experience.
  • You must be open to engaging with visitors, sharing your creative practice, and offering work for observation, this will be applicable when open days are arranged.
  • You will be encouraged to actively participate in the CHGT community and contribute to the creative campus environment.
  • A few of the studios have private entrances, however most are shared access points with other studio holders.  

We welcome all applicants, but due to high levels of interest, priority will be given to those who:

  • Are residents of the London Borough of Hounslow.
  • Will make active use of the studio. 
  • Are willing to open their studio to the public and engage with visitors.
  • Have a creative practice that is appropriate for a heritage building setting.
  • Are in financial need of affordable workspace.

Data Protection and Privacy Notice  

We take your privacy seriously. All information submitted through the application form will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for the Chiswick Artist and Maker Studios.

Your application data will be shared only between the ASC Studios team and Chiswick House & Gardens Trust (CHGT) to assess your eligibility and suitability for the studios. It will not be used for any marketing purposes or shared with any third parties outside of ASC and CHGT.

By submitting the application form, you consent to your information being reviewed and processed by both ASC and CHGT for the purposes of shortlisting and studio allocation. All data will be stored securely in accordance with GDPR and data protection laws, and only retained for as long as necessary to manage the selection process.
