Session 3: Ecosystem services
24-25 August 2020 at 7-10am NY time (13:00-16:00 CET; 21:00-24:00 Australia)

This session will be structured around topics listed below. Final agenda and questions for discussion will be developed at a later stage.

Please note that, Day 1 is intended for a broader audience and will mostly consist of general discussions for information and engagement purposes. Day 2 is, however, aimed at an expert audience and will be structured around small group discussions on technical issues. We request participants to carefully consider their participation in either or both days.

Day 1 – 24 August 2020 (7-10am NY time) – general discussions on:
Tools for biophysical modelling
Country examples and applications

Day 2 – 25 August 2020 (7-10am NY time) – technical discussions on:
Discussion on ecosystem services typologies
Discussion on the outstanding technical issues, such as climate regulation, water regulation and recreation-related services, as well as capacity and intermediate ecosystem services.
