PorchFest 2025 Volunteer Form
This application is for volunteers interested in assisting with Porchfest 2025. Volunteers must be available on May 17, 2025 from the hours of 12-6 (and preferably also on May 16 for the Kick-off event at Bright Eye) to volunteer at assigned homesites to perform the tasks outlined below:

-Prior to the start of the event, introduce yourselves to the host site owners so they know who to consult in the event of questions.
-To ensure the safety of attendees, you must pleasantly maintain order and keep people out of the streets. While event organizers are working to reduce traffic on event streets/boulevards, there may be an occasional vehicle moving through; therefore, attendees , their bicycles and stroller(s) must not be in the streets. Sidewalks and host lawns are permissible gathering places.
-While volunteers need to be courteous, they are asked to politely caution attendees when necessary that alcohol is not permitted.
-Should a host site be on a boulevard, volunteers are asked to make certain attendees keep those intersections clear.
-Direct attendees to safe places at the site so such attendees are not obstructing traffic or endangering themselves.
-Volunteers should be circulating throughout the day to ensure safety and to make certain the porches are clear for the bands only.
-Provide information about the Arts Council and/or the PorchFest.
-If necessary, liaise with the event chair; Katie Mitchell, the Arts Council point persons; Katie Mitchell, or George Trepp or the LBPD in case of a dangerous situation.
