This group will be helping to draft rules for the implementation of two new laws in Colorado. Senate Bill 22-079 requires that direct-care staff in Assisted Living Residences and Skilled Nursing Facilities receive training regarding the care of clients with dementia. Senate Bill 22-053 creates additional patient rights for visitation in certain health-care facilities. This group will meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday from September 2022 through March 2023.
