YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT THIS FORM IF YOU ATTEND THE SPRING CONFIRMATION RETREAT AT SSM!
If you are unable to join us for the SSM Confirmation Retreats in March or April, you will need to complete at least 4 one-hour "retreat-like" experiences of your own choosing, to be completed on your own time.
You must fill out a SEPARATE FORM for EACH of your four retreat experiences!
A retreat-like experience would be any time that you break out of your normal routine and set aside time to specifically spend with God or to grow in your faith in some way. This often includes some kind of prayer, learning experience, and personal reflection time.
Examples of retreat-like experiences can include, but are not limited to:
-Visiting the Holy Family Shrine as a family (consider attending Mass and then walking through The Stations!)
-Attending a Catholic speaker or parish mission (does not need to be at our parish)
-St. Stephen Parish Mission will be March 17th, 18th, ending with a Penance Service on the 19th
-Visiting the Stations of the Cross at Cloisters on the Platte (Stations of the Cross at our parish is great, too!)
-Completing an on-line or virtual retreat/conference (Loyola Press offers FREE daily 3 minute retreats, which last longer with reflection time. Consider trying that out for a week!)
-You may also reach out to other Catholic churches and ask to attend their Confirmation Retreat!
