Dr. Raffael Boccamazzo, Aspiring Youth Group Facilitator and Coach, will explore the unique challenges of raising kids and teenagers in an environment saturated with videos games and social media. Raffael will discuss strategies to help your child build awareness about their digital media consumption and develop self-moderation skills. He will also help parents create communication strategies to avoid computer power struggles. Lastly, Raffael will share ideas on how to help your child build self-initiated independence goals and social activities in a digital age that makes it far too easy to just stay home and plug in.
