Alfred Twu for AC Transit endorsement form
I am running for the AC Transit At-Large seat that is up for election in November 2022.  

As the East Bay recovers, we need to retain our workers and hire more drivers.  We need to restore service, expand options for current riders and attract new ones.

Long term, as more jobs and people come to the East Bay, buses have a growing role in getting new and existing residents around.  I will work with cities, counties, school boards, other transit agencies, and special districts such as Regional Parks and Community Colleges to:

- Ensure that new homes, jobs, and public services are located near bus lines.
- Find new funding for bus service.
- Coordinate connections with other transit agencies and other forms of transportation.
- Improve traffic safety.
