Candidates are elected by simple majority vote of votes cast in Yes/No elections (and by the most votes in contested elections)!
* A Majority of the votes cast will elect the candidate in a Yes/No elections. If there are multiple candidates for a position, the person with the most votes get elected.
* Those who abstain are not counted in the percentage breakdown of the votes cast, as abstention means a vote was not cast for that candidate. If there were multiple candidates, the percentages would show the breakdown between the candidates and ignore the abstention.
