2019 State of NY Sustainability Conference - Call for Student Proposals
PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE NOW ONLY ACCEPTING STUDENT PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS THROUGH THIS FORM.
The Conference Steering Committee invites faculty, staff, and students from public and private higher education institutions across New York State to submit sustainability-related proposals to present at the 2019 State of New York Sustainability Conference. For the first year ever, we will also be holding a student focused summit at the end of the regular conference proceedings.
For-profit companies may submit a proposal, as long as there is a university partner also presenting and the focus of the presentation is a case study in higher education. The conference will be held in Rochester, NY on Wednesday, November 13 - Friday, November 15, 2019.
This year's theme is "Connecting the Campus with Community". We seek to showcase ways in which higher education institutions can advance sustainability efforts on their campuses and in their communities through out New York State. Of particular interest are ways in which students are being engaged in these efforts. Additionally, proposals must address one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (
In order to submit a proposal request, please complete the form below. Proposals must be submitted by Friday, September 27, 2019 at 5pm.
Presenters will receive early-bird registration rates.
