HarvestFest 2017: Build Bazaar Application
Build Institute will be hosting a Build Bazaar at this year's HarvestFest in partnership with the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy! HarvestFest is a free family-friendly afternoon featuring hayrides, face painting, giveaways, bounce houses, family movies/cartoons, food vendors and more all on the Dequindre Cut Greenway! The Build Bazaar will be located on the brand new Dequindre Cut Freight Yard (DCFC) site which is a weekend gathering space using repurposed shipping containers created in partnership with The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, Build Institute, Lawrence Technological University, Groundswell and Ponyride. Located along the greenway between Wilkins and Division Streets, the DCFC will feature interesting lighting treatments, creative site furnishings, the work of local artists and a market where local vendors can sell their wares. Programming will expand next year to include weekends and special events all summer long.

We will have space in the repurposed shipping containers (two vendors per container, four containers total) as well as table space in the Market Area and other areas of the site.
