AR AIMS English Fall Conference Workshop - October 24 & 25, 2022

The AR AIMS Advanced Placement English Fall Conference Workshop will be held October 24 & 25, 2022. This workshop is for teachers of AP English Literature, AP English Language, and Early High School advanced of honors (suggested grades 8-10). We have an exciting slate of nationally recognized presenters scheduled to provide content, strategies, and the latest updates in their fields. You will receive more information about specific content to be covered in each session as we get closer to the workshop date.

DATE: October 24 & 25, 2022
LOCATION: The Delta by Marriott (Formerly Crowne Plaza), 201 S. Shackleford Rd., Little Rock, AR

REGISTRATION FEES: AR AIMS Schools $400 and Non-AR AIMS Schools $500
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: October 11, 2022
LATE REGISTRATION: After October 11, 2022, registration will increase by $25 per participant.

NOTE: Participants who attend both the Fall 2022 AR AIMS AP English Fall Conference Workshop and the 2023 AR AIMS English Mock Reading in the spring will receive a $50 registration discount on the spring workshop registration.

To cancel a registration, participants MUST email Susan Skinkle at slskinkle@ualr.edu with participant name and content area. Registrations received after October 11, 2022 are nonrefundable; however, participant substitutions can be made by emailing Susan Skinkle no later than October 20, 2022.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by AR AIMS; however, dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Lodging is not provided. Please note: The Delta does not provide breakfast; however, there is a restaurant on site. The phone number for The Delta is 501-223-3000.

ADE allows AP teachers to receive their 5 year AP "renewal" by attending the AR AIMS Fall AP Workshop AND the Spring Mock Reading Workshop. You must attend both workshops in the same school year for this renewal. (Note: New AP teachers must attend an APSI for their initial content endorsement.) This workshop does not provide Pre-AP endorsement.
