Hotline Sign-up
Hotline volunteers must have at least a year of sobriety, a sponsor, and a home group, and must complete a painless telephone interview with the Central Office. Please be sure to review the hotline information documents provided at https://bit.ly/atlhotline before signing up for service. Please be sure to provide an email address and phone number that are appropriate for hotline correspondence. Work email addresses and phone numbers are not private or appropriate. If you need a personal email address for hotline service, many free services are available online.

Times available for shifts
Shifts are every other week at the times shown, with a minimum commitment of one year. Even though volunteers can have only one shift at a time, our “waiting for shifts” list is ordered on a “first come, first serve” basis, so the more shifts you are available to cover, the greater the likelihood that you will be first in line to step in to fill an early vacancy.

Application checklist
To complete your application for hotline service, you will need to do three things:

1. Fill out and submit this form. A copy of your responses will be automatically e-mailed to you, the Central Office and the Hotline Chair
2. Call the Central Office at 404-523-5650 during office hours (Mon - Fri, 9a - 4:30p) to let them know you have submitted this form and are ready to do the interview
3. Ask your sponsor to call the Central Office to talk about your application for hotline service

YOU CANNOT BE CLEARED FOR HOTLINE SERVICE UNTIL ALL THREE OF THE ABOVE HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
