Garden Maintenance Manager
The garden maintenance manager will oversee building projects and maintenance of existing garden infrastructure. Such projects would include things like replacing garden beds as they deteriorate and building new compost bins. The garden maintenance manager would also be responsible for leading teams of volunteers to carry out building projects.
The garden maintenance manager should have at least three years of experience with building projects and should feel comfortable using a number of power tools. The garden maintenance manager should also be familiar enough with tools and hardware that they can make informed suggestions to the garden staff about what materials to purchase. The ideal applicant would have knowledge of local timber, hardware, and tool suppliers. Additionally, the garden maintenance manager must have good people skills and display the ability to lead teams of people. Ideally, the garden maintenance manager should have experience working with people from different social backgrounds.
