3.All entry forms are to be accompanied by a named CD/USB or emailed with up to 3 images per work. At least one of the images must depict the full work, all others may be details. Work submitted that does not match the images will be disqualified.
4.Entrants must complete and sign the official entry form attached to this brochure. Only entries accompanied by this form will be accepted.
5.The entry form, images, fee and statement must be at Waiclay by the 5 pm, 27th September
6.Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstance.
7.The judge, Rowley Drysdale will make an initial selection for the exhibition from the images selected. These entrants will be notified on the 22nd Oct and requested to send their works to the Waikato Museum for receiving on the 30th 31st Oct and 1st November. Winners will be announced on 17th Nov at the exhibition opening. The exhibition will be open to the public from 18th Nov. 8.The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any decision made by the judge. 9.Requested works for final selection need to be addressed to: The Waiclay National Ceramics Awards Waikato Museum, 1 Grantham Street, HAMILTON (trades entrance) by 30th 31st Oct and 1st Nov Packaging must be clearly labelled with the entrants name, with entry form in an envelope attached to the outside of the package. Number of pieces included in pack.
10.Freight to the Waikato Museum and transit insurance is the responsibility of the entrant. Waiclay accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that occurs to work during transit or otherwise while in Waiclay’s possession. Work not selected for the final selection will be returned by courier at Waiclay’s expense, work will be on open display.
11.Waiclay reserves the right to photograph and reproduce selected work for publications relating to the Waiclay Ceramics awards and for archival purposes. The signed entry form is evidence of the entrant’s consent. All personal information gathered by Waiclay will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Waiclay Ceramic Awards
12.All work must be for sale and a commission of 40% will be charged on all sales.
13.At the conclusion of the exhibition unsold works will be returned by courier at Waiclay’s expense.

All due care will be taken with every aspect of the exhibition, but the organisers will not be responsible for clerical errors nor any unforeseen mistakes, including accidents or breakages, made by them or volunteer helpers
