2019 Cyber 101 Program Application
September 28-29, 2019

The Cyber 101 Program is accepting applications from high school senior girls (some juniors may be selected as well) who are interested in computing and who would like to learn more about the field of cybersecurity. This will be the fifth year of this program for academically talented young women who support the UMBC Center for Women in Technology’s mission to encourage and support women and other underrepresented groups to be leaders in computing and engineering fields.

If selected, participation will include interactions with college students, hands-on cybersecurity activities, and more. This event is an overnight experience and students will stay in our CWIT Living-Learning Community on campus Saturday, September 28, until Sunday, September 29. The program will begin around 12pm on Saturday (9/28) and end in the early afternoon on Sunday (9/29). This is a free program for students who are selected to participate and will include meals.

You must fully complete this online application to be considered for the program. Notifications will be sent out by Friday, September 20, 2019.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 16, 2019
