1. If you are posting about a potential gig or a job and are looking for a crew, the job should be paid and that must be stated in the body of the email (Crew United and Facebook are great places for unpaid or pro bono work).
2. This is not a space for promotion on the services you offer. There are many good Facebook groups for this. Of course if your work is screening in the city this is a great place to promote your event to other artists and non-fiction filmmakers.
3. While our work can often have a political dimension, this is not a space for a political debate. We must respect diverse points of view within the bounds of decency and kindness. All posts and subsequent responses need to be centered upon the field of non-fiction filmmaking and visual journalism.
4. Prospective members are required to provide the moderators with their full name, a web link verifying their professional identity, as well as a short description of your body of work.
5. Racism, sexism, any form of abuse or exclusionary language will not be tolerated in any form and will result in being banned from the group.
